See what they're making us wear?!?

Do you see what they're making us girls wear these days!

It's no wonder we're loosing all of our clothing stores! I went into a Mervyn's earlier this year looking for a little black dress. All I could find were swaths of black, stretchy material gathered in awkward places.

I gave them a try, promise. But in the dressing room, looking into the mirror, I saw myself in a tent that didn't show off my (stunning) figure at all. It was tight across the shoulders, hung loose around the bust and waist, and was trimmed at the bottom by ten inches of elastic.

I couldn't get out of it quick enough! My usual jeans and black v-neck are, luckily, always in style so I don't ever have to worry about looking "So LAST week."

For example, take this ... thing.... by Neiman Marcus. This is just a side-bar ad that I saw while checking my e-mail this morning.

WHAT IS IT? A dress? A pillow case?

The poor girl looks like a terd with buttons on it. I can't believe how uncomfortable so many women look these days. All I can say is hide the camera. You thought bell-bottoms were goofy, wait until your kids see your vacation pictures and think you must be camping because mom's wearing a tent.
